Dear Friends,
Looking for direction? This Sunday we are looking at God’s promise to guide us. Do take the opportunity to reflect on Proverbs 3:5-6 as we explore it more in both our services and online.
 
Sunday  Services
We look forward to welcoming you to our Sunday 9am and 10.30am services in church, as we continue our series on ‘Promises of God to live by’. There is no need to book and all the other changes can be found HERE.
You can also join us as usual every Sunday at 10.30am on our Livestream. 

Job opportunity
We are looking to employ an assistant Youth Pastor to support Jess and the Youth Team.

Confirmation and Baptism 
We are delighted to let you know that we have been able to rearrange the service of baptism and confirmation (that was postponed due to the pandemic) for Sunday evening 10th of October at 6.30pm at Christ Church. If you would like the opportunity to join the current candidates in being either confirmed (if you're already baptised) or to be baptised as well by immersion (if you haven’t been already), please do contact John via [email protected] for an invite to the prep session on Sunday the 12th of September. If you have any questions do please ask John.
 
Children’s church   
Children’s’ Sunday activities are continuing throughout the summer with the exception of our Youth.
Summer Blast!

The youth weekend away is over the August bank holiday weekend, do check your
emails or contact the office for more information. Please do be praying for them.

The Time is Now
The Climate Change coalition is organising a petition of  Boris Johnson  in advance of COP26, the climate change summit happening in Glasgow in November this year. The petition is advocating for the UK to be at the forefront of using clean renewable energy, restoring and expanding our green and wild spaces and leaving no one behind by supporting the most vulnerable in the world.  Please do visit their website and prayerfully consider if you could join in this peoples movement.
