Sunday 2nd - THERE IS ONE SERVICE AT 10 AM. Bishop Alan is leading the service when we will give thanks to God for the redevelopment and rededicate of the church.

Confirmation and Baptism John and Heather Hookway will be hosting a preparation/exploration session for the young people on Sunday 9th February from 5pm – 6.30pm on the church balcony. Pizza will be included! Let Joanne know if you are interested, email: [email protected].
For adults who are interested in confirmation and baptism contact Joanne at
[email protected].

Alpha is coming! We will be running Alpha in church on Wednesday evenings from 5th February to 11th March, 8 - 9:30 pm (tea/coffee from 7:45 pm). To register your interest in attending, please email [email protected]. To support the course, please prayerfully consider inviting friends using the invitation cards available at the back of church. We would also love as many people as possible to commit to praying for the sessions. For further information talk to Katy Cole, Susan Embley or Andrew du Boulay.

Half Term JOIN-IN Morning is on Monday 17th February- 9.30 to 12 in church. A morning of fun, games, craft, drama and bible stories with refreshments. Free of charge. For children aged 0-11 and their parents/carers. A team is needed to run this event so please speak to Jess if you can help with setting up on Sunday 16th February or help on the morning with games, craft, registration, café or prayer tent.

Awayday@Home takes place Saturday 21st March. Information leaflets and booking forms are available in Church. We would encourage all to make an effort to attend as it promises to be a great day.

Forgiveness Project – the exhibition is coming to Christ Church between Tuesday 25th and Saturday 29th February. The exhibition includes 23 real-life stories of forgiveness from around the world. We do encourage you to think about who you could bring along to experience this unique exhibition. Further details are available on the flyer. If you would like to help please do speak to Rosie Watson – 01920 466941.

The funeral of Hubert McLoughlin, known to us as Mac, takes place Tuesday 4th February at 11.00 in Church. Ann and family extend a warm invitation to all who wish to attend. 

PRAY PRAY PRAY!!! Third Monday of the month at 10 am in the Youth Wing: Second Monday evenings 8 –
9 pm all in the Church Centre.

Save the date- Children’s Summer holiday club will take place 17th - 20th August. Details will be available soon but please save the date to help or take part in.

Seamstress needed to make a draft excluder for the Church. If you are able to help please talk to the office.

Women’s World Day of Prayer – would anyone be interested in being the contact person for this year’s prayer meeting to be held at Leaside on Friday 6th March 2020. If so please let the office know. ​

A free thought-provoking exhibition in
Christ Church, New Road, Ware, SG12 7BS,
from Tuesday 25 – Saturday 29 February 2020.


Now seen across the world by over 70,000 people.

Twenty-three stories from victims and perpetrators which movingly explore transformative alternatives to revenge, retaliation and remorse: stories which explore the option and process of giving and receiving forgiveness.

Community and Celebration Weekend 1st & 2nd February.
 On Saturday, 1st February (2-5 pm), the church will be holding a Community event  which will showcase the transformation of the church building to the local community and the exciting things which take place at Christ Church now and in the future. We would like to invite you to contribute and be involved in this event. You could help put up a publicity booth (presentation, demonstration, leaflets, an activity children/youth, quiet space….), help with refreshments, make cakes, provide a tours/history of the church, be a steward/welcome and pray during events, or move chairs and set up the church etc. If you are interested in taking part on this exciting day, please contact to Hayley Murdoch
