Sunday  Services

United Breaks Out. New Wine

Children’s Church   
Children’s’ Sunday activities are continuing throughout the summer with the exception of our Youth. We are looking for some volunteers to help with Children’s work on a Sunday to enable our regular team to have a well-deserved break. If you could help on one of the Sundays please do contact Jess.

We are very excited to be able to share that tickets are available for our children’s summer activities. Summer Blast! will run on Tuesdays 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th August. Get in quick to avoid disappointment! For tickets e-mail Jess at: [email protected]

Jess is holding various drop in’s over the summer for youth and the youth weekend away is over the August bank holiday weekend, do check your e mails or contact the office.

CAP
Our Christians Against Poverty Debt centre is still up and running, if you know of anybody who needs their help do contact 0800 328 0006
Our CAP café is on Thursday mornings at 11am – do encourage CAP clients both past and present to drop in for a coffee.

Verger Team
We are looking to expand our Verger team for weddings and funerals.  It is a straight- forward role, for which there is a payment for your time, and those who do it will say it is a blessing to be on duty at these significant life events, supporting the families involved. Full training will be given and if you would like to know more about the role please do not hesitate to contact the office.

A memorial service for Basil Smith will be held at Christ Church on Wednesday
4th August at 10 am – all are welcome to attend if you wish to do so.
 

Do you have or know somebody who has a triple ladder. We would like to borrow one to inspect the church roofs during first part of September. If you can help please contact the church office.
