This Sundays is the Seven Service - This term we are looking at personal stories of God at Work today Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm. SEVEN is a lively, spirit led service with worship, teaching and fellowship. We meet together after the service socially; it would be good to see you. Year 6 Pizza Picnic - Join us on Sunday 4th June for a pizza picnic 12.15-2pm! To celebrate their time in children’s church and to help with transition we are having a time just for our wonderful year 6s. This will include food, games and time chatting about the move to secondary school and praying together. Please RSVP to [email protected] and also let us know any dietary requirements. Women’s Day Saturday 17th June 2.30-7.30pm join us as we worship, share food, unwind, pray, hear stories, be creative and have fun. For ALL women of ALL ages at Christ Church (not under 18's). Please spread the word! Optional Kit list for the day; Bible, Notebook (if you like making notes!), Reading book (if you like reading!), Games (if you like games!), Drinks and snacks for you or to share, your own craft project (if you like doing them!), Donation for chip shop chips (if you like chips!) Things you could contribute ahead of the day; praying for the day, group craft activity, joining the worship group Email [email protected] Ordination Service – 2nd July 2023, 7pm at Christ Church We are delighted to be hosting Marcus Hart, Claire Finlay, Stephen Fraser & James Barlow Ordination Service at Christ Church. We are expecting a lot of visitors to join them and we are all invited. If you would like to help with refreshments, stewarding, car parking etc. please let me the office know. Babies and Toddlers Course Would you like to know more about growing your baby’s or toddler’s faith from the comfort of your living room? Parenting for Faith are running this online course on 13th June, 20th June, 27th June and 4th July. John and Lizzie Castle are hosting a Christ Church group from 8-9. If you would like more information, please contact the office. Summer fun!- Help needed please Sundays: In order to give our wonderful children’s and youth team a break over the summer Sundays we are looking for volunteers for the following dates to help with either the crèche (0-3, 3 people needed), children (3-11, ideally a team of 4), youth (11-14, 2 people). Sessions will be prepared for you. 30th July , 6th August, 13th August, 20th August, 27th August Summer Blast: Fun activity mornings for children in the local area. Team required for each morning. Will likely include games, crafts and bible story. The specifics are still being worked out so if you would like to be part of the planning please get in touch!
