This Sunday
We look forward to welcoming you to our Sunday 9am and 10.30am services in church, as we look at connecting with God. Book your place for all in person services HERE.
I am delighted to let you know that you can also book for in person children’s and youth groups on Sunday at 10.30am. You can also join us as usual every Sunday at 10.30am on our live stream HERE.
 
Life Groups
If you are not currently part of a life group and would like to get connected, please do contact the office.
 
Prayer meetings
We have a church prayer meeting each Friday at 10.00am via Zoom, for our church and community. Grab a coffee and join in. Contact the office for the link (please don’t share the link on social media).

New Baby Group
We are pleased to share with you that our new baby group has started, taking place on Fridays from 1.30 to 2.30. This is to support parents with new-borns, and at the moment all places have been taken. To go on the waiting list please contact the church office. Please do pray for this ministry as it seeks to support and encourage the mums who are able to join us.

APCM
Our Annual Parochial Church Meeting is next Wednesday 28th April at 7.45pm. You can join us in the following ways

1. In person- no need to book, just come along. Face coverings are required and social distancing rules apply.
2. Via Zoom. YOU NEED TO BOOK BY 9am WEDNESDAY MORNING to join the Zoom meeting. Please contact the office- [email protected] to book your place. We will send out joining instructions to all who have booked for Zoom on Wednesday morning.

If you would like a copy of the annual report, please let the office know and we will email it to you next week.
If you have questions that you wish asked at the APCM please email these to [email protected] by 3pm on Wednesday.
There are six vacancies for PCC and we are delighted that, so far, we have received four nominations. We have one vacancy for a Deanery Synod representative.

Summertime activities
We are currently starting to plan some school holiday activities for our children and young people. Details are still being worked on at this time however we need some inspiration from you.
The plan is to run a series (likely 3) mornings of fun, games and activities for 5-11 year olds and a separate 0-5 year old session.  If you would be willing to be a helper for one or all of the sessions which will last a maximum of 2 hours please let me know (e-mail below).
 
Also, do you have contacts for fun activities for children to do- large size games, bouncy castle, unusual sports and visiting animals? At this stage anything and everything can be considered but we do have limited budgets so are looking at creative ideas - please talk to me if you have any ideas or contacts regardless of how unusual.

Thank you to those of you who expressed an interest in working with the church as we look at Eco issues, we are currently following up on these offers. In the meantime can we recommend the current BBC series Greta Thunberg: A Year to Change the World if you want to broaden your understand of some of climate and environmental issues we face as a world.
