The next Seven Service is on 28th May - This term we are looking at personal stories of God at Work today Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm. SEVEN is a lively, spirit lead service with worship, teaching and fellowship. We meet together after the service socially; it would be good to see you. Churches Together – 25th May Picnic and Prayers 7:30pm in Christ Church Grounds or inside if wet. Please bring your own picnic and enjoy chatting with one another followed by a time of prayer together as part of “Thy Kingdom Come” Week Christ Church is a Fairtrade church, meaning that we aim to use Fairtrade products including tea and coffee after services and during church-based activities. We also encourage church members to buy and use such products at home. Every year Ware Fairtrade Committee holds a dinner, to which you are invited! It will be held on Tuesday May 23rd at Ware Rugby Club, Hoe Lane, at 7.30 for 8pm. A 3-course dinner will be served using Fairtrade ingredients and including a glass of Fairtrade wine or fruit juice. Tickets are £25 each. If you would like to attend, please see Mary Salter or contact her via the Church office. Year 6 Pizza Picnic - Join us on Sunday 4th June for a pizza picnic 12.15-2pm! To celebrate their time in children’s church and to help with transition we are having a time just for our wonderful year 6s. This will include food, games and time chatting about the move to secondary school and praying together. Please RSVP to [email protected]and also let us know any dietary requirements. Children’s Church Team Meeting – Saturday 10th June 9.30-11.30am in church, starting with coffee and croissants! A time for the team to reflect and celebrate, plan and look ahead to the coming year. Babies and Toddlers Course Would you like to know more about growing your baby’s or toddler’s faith from the comfort of your living room? Parenting for Faith are running this online course on 13th June, 20th June, 27th June and 4th July. John and Lizzie Castle are hosting a Christ Church group from 8-9. If you would like more information, please contact the office. Women’s Day ––Saturday 17th June, 2.30-7.30pm, join us as we worship, share food, unwind, pray, hear stories, be creative and have fun. For ALL women of ALL ages at Christ Church (not under 18's). Please spread the word! We will be praying for the event every Tuesday at 2pm. If you are interested in supporting the school in this way please talk to John Tapestry exhibition inspired by the creation story at St Albans cathedral. 'Threads through Creation' is a spectacular sequence of twelve huge textile panels that will be on display between 3rd May and 9th June 2023. Created by textile artist Jacqui Parkinson, these beautiful panels retell the creation story in the book of Genesis.
