Dear Friends, This Sunday we are starting our new series Insights from Thessalonians – this week we will consider Thanks, Hope and Endurance from 1 Thessalonians 1:1-3 1 Thessalonians is an amazing letter that Paul wrote. Why not take a moment to imagine receiving the letter and see what themes emerge for you as you read it through before the series starts? If you have missed any of our services or want to watch them again do subscribe to our YouTube channel for all the latest updates and past video’s www.youtube.com/ChristChurchWare Sunday evening SEVEN service We are looking to redevelop the 7.00pm ‘SEVEN’ service from the 28th of November, and we are having a planning meeting Tonight Thursday 21st of October at 8.00 pm. If you would like to be part of the team looking at its redevelopment please contact Mark Hallett, via the Church Office. Friday Coffee mornings in Church We are pleased to announce two more coffee mornings in Church, 9.30am – 11.30am: Friday 5th November and Friday 3rd December. Free, but donations welcome. Just drop in for a cuppa and a chat, you will be most welcome. Prayer for Join in Family Fun 7.30am Coffee, Prayer and Pastries on Wednesday 27th October in Church, please do join in prayer for this great event – see below. Half-Term Join In Family Fun We are running a half-term family fun session on Thursday 28th October 10-12 and 1-3 with games, craft, inflatables, games and bible storytelling for 0-11s. Youth Ministry We are delighted to let you know that we restarting our youth mentoring programme. Please do get in touch with Jess if you are interested in being a mentor or if you would like to know more about what this is all about. Contact for Jess as above. Toddler Group An additional Toddler Group session on Tuesday mornings is starting 2nd November. If you would like to be part of the team of helpers please do talk to Jess. Volunteers ‘Thank you’ evening Advance date for your diaries, Thursday 18th of November in the church. Please do reserve the date if you volunteer in any ministry at Christ Church:  Christ Church School We have the real privilege of a great partnership with Christ Church school that we founded. There are many ways that we continue to support the school and one is that we appoint Foundation Governors to the school. Currently there are two vacancies for governors. If you, or someone you know, are interested in serving in this way or just finding out more, please do speak to myself, Roger Tiffen of Yelena Wells if you would like more information. Opportunities to help at Christ Church We currently need help in various ways to support the life and ministry of the church. If any of these areas of ministry are of interest to you please do not hesitate to contact the office, chat to one of the church wardens, Jess or the Operations Manager.
