Weekly Update

Dear Friends,

Did you need to rest? Discover more in our fourth video in the new series Biblical Insights for your life of Faith, released today at 12noon. It’s a series on what I wish every Christian could know for their life with God. Why not watch them and talk about them with your prayer triplet, mentor or life group. These will now be coming out fortnightly over the summer at 12noon on a Thursday.

This Sunday’s Livestream we also have a special Children’s video from children’s church over the last few weeks.


Sundays
The livestream will continue on Sundays throughout July and August at 10am. It was great to see several of you on Sunday, and you're welcome to attend this week.

This Sunday (19th of July) at 11.15am there will be a short, simple service – with a reading, sermon and prayers. Throughout July, it will be necessary to book a space for the service at 11.15am, this can be done HERE.

Looking ahead, there is more that we have in mind to increase the ministry opportunities and the number of people that can attend but here are some of our advance dates:

• Sunday 26th of July at 11.15am will be a communion service. We will also be having a communion service at 10.30am on Thursday the 23rd of July.
• Sunday 26th of July at 4pm Jess will be leading a family children’s service. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Sunday 2nd of August at 11.15am will be a short, simple service – with a reading, sermon and prayers.
• Sunday 2nd of August at 8pm we will be gathering together for an evening service to watch the New Wine United Breaks Out Live stream with Paul Harcourt.

As a church, many of us go to New Wine each summer, this year we are coming to you!! Save the dates.
New Wine - United Breaks Out
30 July – 3 August 2020
New Wine are gathering the family together this summer – across homes, gardens and communities – for an online event for all ages and abilities:

• Morning & evening teaching, worship & prayer ministry, afternoon TED-style seminars, sofa sessions, Q&As and webinars. 
• Kids morning sessions packed with songs, stories and gunge, afternoon fun and games & an Augmented Reality App.
• Luminosity (youth) breakfast time devotions & chat, challenges, workshops, evening celebrations & after parties.
• 1-2-1 prayer slots, mission consultations & international gatherings for Leaders, plus discussions about 'What’s next for the local church?’, 'Leading & well-being' and 'Mission & planting'.
• Local church Community Makers creating fellowship and connection in our homes and communities during the event.

Prayer meetings: We have a church prayer meeting each Friday at 10.00 via Zoom, for our church and community. Grab a coffee and join in. The link will be in the following email or contact the office. (please don’t share the link on social media)
