This Sunday 12th March the Seven Service is on - Do Not Judge Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm. Easter Explored! 26th – 30th March You can come along and experience the Easter Explored space at Church on Wednesday 29th March 8-9pm to pray for the schools who have already visited and will continue to visit throughout the week. We will be having a reflective walk around, you will be guided to scriptures, there will be space to pray, and a time to listen/ for reflective worship. We are running Easter Explored this year. We will take people through the journey of Easter and tell the story of Jesus in a multi-sensory and interactive way by transforming the church into different scenes Setting up on Sunday 26th March and then running throughout the week till Thurs 30th March. We need a team of people who would like to help plan, act, welcome and set up- there is something for everyone to get involved with! Do you have these items of the week? Clay/terracotta pots and jugs (largish) Please contact [email protected] How to warm up to maintain a healthy singing voice workshop – Tuesday 4th April 7:30pm Christ Church Centre Jo Pierce (qualified voice teacher & musical director) will be running a FREE practical, fun workshop covering; physical and vocal warms up you can use when singing at church to keep your voice healthy. If you currently sing in the worship bands or are interested in singing in this is for you. Welcome to adults and young people in year 7 and over. For all levels of experience. Contact the Church office if you are interested Ukraine Family Yaroslav is a member of our congregation and he and his mum (in her 70s) have been living with a Christ Church family under the Homes4Ukraine scheme. The six month hosting arrangement will come to an end at the beginning of April and we wondered if anyone might be in a position to host these generous and respectful mother and son who will need 2 bedrooms and access to public transport into Hertford where Yaroslav is working. Please contact [email protected] Toddler Assistance Toddlers runs on Mondays and Tuesdays 9.30-11am during term time. This is an incredible opportunity to connect with the community, giving parents and carers a safe space to come to whilst their children play. The group is run by a supportive and dedicated team. Roles include;
Oasis – 25th March The oasis (lone parent group) are short of a helper or two to play table tennis or outdoor games with our children and young people on sat 25th March. The session is 4 till 7 but we eat at 5.45 pm. You’d be welcome to stay and eat with us or if you can just come along from 4pm for a couple of hours, that would be fabulous. Save the date Join In Easter Café and Craft10.30-12 on Monday 3rd April (in the Centre) for children with their parents/carers. Children and adults make crafts at their table while chatting and enjoying refreshments. Would you like to be involved in this fun event?
