If you think you should be on it please check the copy by the West Door. If you would like to be on it please complete a form and place in the collection box or give in to the office by Tuesday 3rd May. What is the Electoral Roll? The church’s Electoral Roll is the register of its voting members; it is a list of those qualified to attend and to vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting. Electoral rolls provide an indication of the real membership and strength of the church. Who can be on the electoral Roll? If you are baptised and over 16, and either live in the parish, or have worshipped regularly at Christ Church for at least six months; and are committed to being part of the life of the local Church of England congregation. Why Join? Enrolment is a way of saying....“I belong”. For us it is an act of commitment to Christ Church and the church as a whole. Sunday Welcome Team If you are currently part of the team who welcome folk to church on Sundays (Warden Deputy Warden, Sidesperson or Welcome team) or indeed would like to be party of the team, then you are warmly invited to a thank you and refresher evening on Sunday 15th May at 7pm in Church. There will be refreshments, a chance to talk about the role of meeting and greeting, give you a refresher after the disruption of Covid and the disjointed 2 years we have had, a chance to ask questions and most important to say a big thank you to you all. Verger needed We have a Wedding on Saturday 18th June at 12:30, our normal verger is unavailable. If you would be willing to help us or would like to know more – please contact the office. A small honorarium is paid for your time. The Death Cafe initiative that we began in Costa Coffee in November is sadly going to ‘shut up shop’.
