In the prayer area at the back of church there are cards for you to leave a; Testimony, Things to Pray for, as well as words for us as a Church. The Staff team will then take time to pray during for them during the week. Please place completed cards in the offertory box or give to a member of the clergy. Service of the Word – 9th June 12:15pm in Church (after the Friday Coffee Morning 10-12). This service is on the second Friday of the month. The service is an opportunity for people to attend church during the week and to connect with God. SEVEN The next Seven Service is this Sunday 11th June. We are continuing to look at personal stories of God at work today but this will be a very special Seven service this week…. come along to find out why! For ALL women of ALL ages at Christ Church (not under 18's). Please spread the word! Things you could contribute ahead of the day; praying for the day, group craft activity, joining the worship group Email [email protected] Ordination Service – 2nd July 2023, 7pm at Christ Church We are delighted to be hosting Marcus Hart, Claire Finlay, Stephen Fraser & James Barlow Ordination Service at Christ Church. We are expecting a lot of visitors to join them and we are all invited. We are looking for volunteers to help with: refreshments, stewarding, car parking, Tech. We will also need lots of cake! Babies and Toddlers Course Would you like to know more about growing your baby’s or toddler’s faith from the comfort of your living room? Parenting for Faith are running this online course on 13th June, 20th June, 27th June and 4th July. John and Lizzie Castle are hosting a Christ Church group from 8-9. If you would like more information, please contact the office. Summer fun! - Help needed please Sundays: In order to give our wonderful children’s and youth team a break over the summer Sundays we are looking for volunteers for the following dates to help with either the crèche (0-3, 3 people needed), children (3-11, ideally a team of 4), youth (11-14, 2 people). Sessions will be prepared for you. Would you like to come along and lead our children in Worship over the Summer 30th July, 6th August, 13th August, 20th August, 27th August Summer Blast: Fun activity mornings for children in the local area. Team required for each morning. Will likely include games, crafts and bible story. The specifics are still being worked out so if you would like to be part of the planning please get in touch!
