Service of the Word
Friday 11th November at 12:15 in Church (after the Friday Coffee Morning 10-12).  This service will be on the second Friday of the month.  The service is an opportunity for people to attend church during the week and to connect with God.

SEVEN
This Sundays Seven service 13th November.  We continue to look at Ephesians -  Live United
SEVEN is a lively, spirit led service with worship, teaching and fellowship.  We meet together after the service socially; it would be good to see you.
 

Big Questions - Tuesday 15th November 7:30pm Memorial Hall
Where is God in the Crisis?
Pandemic, Ukraine, Climate Change, Energy Crisis...Where is God?
An evening to explore one of the big questions of faith and life.
The evening will have a short talk, discussion and space for a Q&A.  All enjoyed with Tea & Cake. Please contact the office for more details.
 

CAP Money Course
CAP Money is a simple, yet highly effective money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a cash-based system that really works.  This (3 evening) course will help anyone to get more in control of their finances, so they can save, give and prevent debt.   The course will be held on 10th, 17th & 24th November at 8:00pm in the Church Centre.
Christ Church Ware has partnered with Christians Against Poverty to offer CAP Money courses in our community. The service we offer is completely free.   If you would like to attend Register . If you are unable to make these dates but would be interested in attending a similar course please contact the office.
 

Christmas Choir  - Starts this week
We are delighted that Mark Dillon has agreed to lead the choir for the Carols by Candle light service.
Rehearsals be on Tuesday‘s, 7.30 – 9.15 pm in church (15th, 22nd, 29th Nov & 6th, 13th December).  All abilities welcome, come along and have a go!  Enthusiasm is more important that musical ability.   Further reminder nearer the time.
 

Thinking of a gift idea for Christmas?

• Next year if you are not already using a daily devotional, we would encourage you to use Choose Life 365 readings for Radical Disciples by Simon Guillebaud.  This will enable you to be able to talk about your reading and thoughts with one another at Church or life groups.
• On Sundays we use the NIV UK 2011 edition of the Bible.  We would really encourage you to bring your own copy to church so that together we get used to hearing Gods voice as well as using reading and studying scripture and all it has to say to us.  Reading a physical copy can help us to really see the text in its context.

British summer time has finished for 2022.  We move into November and approach the last MADD meeting of 2022.
At the meeting on Thursday 17th November 2022, 11.30am in Christ Church, Ware. We will be …  Peeling off the outer layers, unwrapping and drilling down to find out what makes the Reverend Norman Richards tick.  His background, work as vicar in Buntingford and chaplain at Stansted Airport.

Operation Christmas Child 2022 – COLLECTION THIS WEEK
Filled shoebox gifts or fillers can be dropped to the church during National Collections Week (14th to 21st November).  The church will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday in that period from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
