Monday 20th march 10-11am in the Youth Wing Church Centre (3rd Monday). Everyone is welcome to join us to pray for the world, local community and life at Christ Church. SEVEN -The next Seven Service is on 26th March Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm. SEVEN is a lively, spirit led service with worship, teaching and fellowship. We meet together after the service socially; it would be good to see you. Easter Explored! 26th – 30th March Journey through the Easter story in a multi-sensory and interactive way. You can come along and experience the Easter Explored space at Church on Wednesday 29th March 8-9pm to pray for the schools who have already visited and will continue to visit throughout the week. We will be having a reflective walk around, you will be guided to scriptures, there will be space to pray, and a time to listen/ for reflective worship. Do you have these items of the week? Join In Easter Café and Craft 10.30-12 on Monday 3rd April (in the Centre) for children with their parents/carers. Easter Services at Christ Church MAUNDY THURSDAY - 6th April 8.00pm Communion Service GOOD FRIDAY - 7th April 10.30am Service with children’s activities and hot cross buns EASTER SUNDAY - 8th April 9.00am Communion Service 10.30am Communion Service How to warm up to maintain a healthy singing voice workshop – Tuesday 4th April 7:30pm Christ Church Centre Jo Pierce (qualified voice teacher & musical director) will be running a FREE practical, fun workshop covering; physical and vocal warms up you can use when singing at church to keep your voice healthy. If you currently sing in the worship bands or are interested in singing in this is for you. Welcome to adults and young people in year 7 and over. For all levels of experience. Contact the Church office if you are interested. Toddler Assistance Toddlers runs on Mondays and Tuesdays 9.30-11am during term time. This is an incredible opportunity to connect with the community, giving parents and carers a safe space to come to whilst their children play. The group is run by a supportive and dedicated team. Roles include;
Oasis – 25th March The oasis (lone parent group) are short of a helper or two to play table tennis or outdoor games with our children and young people on sat 25th March. The session is 4 till 7 but we eat at 5.45 pm. You’d be welcome to stay and eat with us or if you can just come along from 4pm for a couple of hours, that would be fabulous. ECO Church We are a Silver Award holder with Eco Church Eco Church - An A Rocha UK Project We are looking for people who are willing to help our Eco Church Group which is being reinvigorated – if you are interested in things environmental and the churches response to the call to be more environmentally conscious – please pass your details to the office – Paul Watson. The egg that shares the Easter Story Out of the 80 million Easter eggs sold in this part of the world every year, The Real Easter Egg is the only one which has an Easter story book in the box, is made of Fairtrade chocolate and supports charitable projects. The Christ Church collection centre welcomed donors with 158 shoebox gifts as well as numerous hats and other gifts. We were also involved in collecting over 3,000 boxes from the local area and delivering them to the processing centre in Tonbridge. Our boxes this year went to children in Ukraine and neighbouring countries housing refugees, as well as Bosnia and Central Asia. From the UK as a whole, shoebox gifts were sent to 252,022 children in 7 different countries, so thank you for being part of that. Comments are closed.
