Our new series on Mark’s Gospel starts this Sunday with the Kingdom of God in Mark – the Kingdom prepared, Mark 1:1-13. Do join us at 9 am or 10.30 am (also on-line at 10.30 am).

Save the date - Saturday 26th February 2022
Our church Away Day (at home this time!!) returns, with times of worship, encounter, teaching, fun and laughter. There will also be a Children’s and Youth programme for the day.

Our guest speaker is the Reverend Nicola Moy. She is the vicar of Christ Church W4 in Chiswick, a ministry partner of CPAS, a speaker at Lee Abbey and was on the leadership team of New Wine. She loves travel and has ministered in India, Africa and Asia, but not yet South America! She is married to Richard, the new National Director of SOMA UK, and they have three school aged children and a dog!! Prior to ordination she was an RE teacher. Inter-church Quiz – Saturday 22nd January 2022
Christ Church will be hosting the Inter-church Quiz on Saturday 22nd January at 7.30 p.m.  Interested teams (maximum 8 people) should register with Christ Church Office by phone (01920 487267) or email ([email protected]).  Any individuals not in teams can be grouped on the night.  We will not be providing food this year, so please bring your own nibbles and drinks (alcoholic drinks allowed).  We will provide tea and coffee.  All money raised will be going to Tearfund in Rwanda.  The suggested donation is £5 per head.  Please use the following link for more information and to donate:   https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/wareinterchurchquiz


SEVEN worship team
Saturday 8th January at 9.45 am – if you are interested in being part of the worship teams for our Sunday evening SEVEN service, there is a teaching and worship session this Saturday in church. Please email [email protected].

The next SEVEN service is on Sunday 23rd January.


Finding out about faith
Interested in exploring faith?  Or finding out about Christianity? We are offering two
informal opportunities to find out about what it means to know and follow Jesus.
The dates are Mondays 24th and 31st January between 8 pm and 9.15 pm in church. Please contact the office to register your interest and for further details.
 

Death Café
Death Café is an opportunity to get together with others and discuss matters surrounding death in a supportive setting. It takes place on the third Thursday of the month and is open to all.
The next Death Café will take place on 20th January 2022 from 7.30 pm – 9.30 pm in Costa Coffee, Ware High Street. If you would like to attend please email [email protected] or leave a message on 07513 317066.
 

Pilates
There will be no Pilates on Tuesday 11th January due to maintenance work taking place in church.
