SEVEN
Next  Sunday is the  Seven Service – Christmas Special – Carols by Fire Light
SEVEN is a lively, spirit led service with worship, teaching and fellowship.  We meet together after the service socially; it would be good to see you.
 

Christmas Services - Preparations are well under way.  We are expecting many new faces to come and join us and we need to give them a warm, friendly welcome.  If you would like to help us in this way please let the office know when you would be available to help.

Join In Christmas Café and Craft- Tuesday 20th December 3.15-5pm for parents/carers and children in the church centre. A space to relax and enjoy creating festive crafts and making a mess in our halls rather than your home!  Team- If you would like to help with crafts, refreshments or welcome at this event then please speak to Jess [email protected]  Book your place- More info on how to book coming next week
 

Prayer and Fasting
7th December Life group and Church day of prayer and fasting, praying for Christmas and the New year. You can pray and fast in your own space, pray and fast as part of your life group, or if you haven’t been along for a while why not join a life group.
There will be a guided prayer and reflection space in church on the Wednesday morning 10-11am.
 

Service of the Word
Friday 9th December at 12:15 in Church (after the Friday Coffee Morning 10-12).  This service will be on the second Friday of the month.  The service is an opportunity for people to attend church during the week and to connect with God.
 

CAP Christmas Hampers
If you would like to provide some blessings for the CAP Christmas Hampers, please see attached for ideas or pick up a list from church. Please bring any items to church by 14th December. Thank you for your support.
 

Thinking of a gift idea for Christmas?

• Next year if you are not already using a daily devotional, we would encourage you to use Choose Life 365 readings for Radical Disciples by Simon Guillebaud.  This will enable you to be able to talk about your reading and thoughts with one another at Church or life groups.
• On Sundays we use the NIV UK 2011 edition of the Bible.  We would really encourage you to bring your own copy to church so that together we get used to hearing Gods voice as well as using reading and studying scripture and all it has to say to us.  Reading a physical copy can help us to really see the text in its context.

 

Friday Morning Café over Christmas Please note that the last Friday morning café will be on 16th December, re-opening on Friday 6th January.  Many thanks to the volunteers and patrons who have made this such a great success. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
