Dear Friends, On Sunday we continue with our series Insights from Thessalonians – this week we will explore how the Thessalonians modelled discipleship, from 1 Thessalonians 1: 4-10. 1 Thessalonians is an amazing letter that Paul wrote. Free, but donations welcome. Just drop in for a cuppa and a chat, you will be most welcome. Youth Ministry We are delighted to let you know that we restarting our youth mentoring programme. We have the real privilege of a great partnership with Christ Church school that we founded. There are many ways that we continue to support the school and one is that we appoint Foundation Governors to the school. Currently there are two vacancies for governors. If you, or someone you know, are interested in serving in this way or just finding out more, please do speak to myself, Roger Tiffen of Yelena Wells if you would like more information. Opportunities to help at Christ Church We currently need help in various ways to support the life and ministry of the church. If any of these areas of ministry are of interest to you please do not hesitate to contact the office, chat to one of the church wardens, Jess or the Operations Manager. You need to bring an exercise mat, towel and bottle of water. Care of God’s acre The UK is hosting the COP26 Climate Conference at the beginning of November.
