Dear Friends, This Sunday we are continuing in our new series, Living in Jesus, where this week we get to explore ‘Finding Direction’. The reading will be Romans 8: 14-17 and Galatians 5:25. Please do continue to keep praying for all those who were baptised and confirmed, and if you have any words or pictures for them, do let John know. Sunday evening SEVEN service We are looking to redevelop the 7.00pm ‘SEVEN’ service from the 28th of November, and we are having a planning meeting on Thursday 21st of October at 8.00 pm. If you would like to be part of the team looking at its redevelopment please contact Mark Hallett, via the Church Office.

Half-Term Join In Family Fun We are running a half-term family fun session on Thursday 28th October 10-12 and 1-3 with games, craft, inflatables, games and bible storytelling for 0-11s. We need your help! Can you offer to help with:
Toddler Group We plan to run an additional Toddler Group session on Tuesday mornings, starting 2nd November. If you would like to be part of the team please do talk to Jess. Volunteers ‘Thank you’ evening Advance date for your diaries, Thursday 18th of November in the church. Please do reserve the date if you volunteer in any ministry at Christ Church, further details to follow. Opportunities to help at Christ Church We currently need help in various ways to support the life and ministry of the church. If any of these areas of ministry are of interest to you please do not hesitate to contact the office, chat to one of the church wardens, Jess or the Operations Manager. For our Sunday services we need to expand the teams in the following ministries:
Oasis Oasis is Christ Church’s ministry to those who are parenting alone and their children. Prior to lockdown, we held a monthly group in the church centre on Saturday afternoon/evening. We plan to re-launch meeting from November. If you have an interest in helping in this ministry, know of a single parent who would benefit from coming along or would like to find out more please contact the office. Please do be praying for this internationally important event. If you would like to know how to get involved please visit: https://www.tearfund.org/campaigns/cop26 Looking after yourself with Pilates Thanks you to those who have expressed interest in the attending - we have enough to start the course. The course will start on Tuesday 19th October at 9.30 am in church at a cost of £8 per person. You need to bring an exercise mat, towel and bottle of water. God bless John and the Christ Church Team.
