Tim from Amigos Worldwide will be joining us to update on the work that we have supported via our Legacy Project Amigos Worldwide SEVEN The Next Seven service is on Sunday 14th May - This term we are looking at personal stories of God at Work today Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm. SEVEN is a lively, spirit lead service with worship, teaching and fellowship. We meet together after the service socially; it would be good to see you. APCM - 17th May 7:45pm in Church beginning with a time of worship It is an opportunity to be updated about the church and its future vision. It is also where we elect Trustee/PCC Members – we have up to 7 vacancies for PCC for various terms of 1, 2 & 3 Years and 2 vacancies for Denary Synod. If you are interested in serving in the way please talk to the Clergy, Wardens or existing PCC Members. Further details are available from the Church Office. Church Electoral Roll: The annual revision of the Church Electoral Roll What is the Electoral Roll? The church’s Electoral Roll is the register of its voting members; it is a list of those qualified to attend and to vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting. Electoral rolls provide an indication of the real membership and strength of the church. Who can be on the electoral Roll? If you are baptised and over 16, and either live in the parish, or have worshipped regularly at Christ Church for at least six months; and are committed to being part of the life of the local Church of England congregation. Why Join? Enrolment is a way of saying....“I belong”. For us it is an act of commitment to Christ Church and the church as a whole. You can apply to be on the Electoral Roll at any time. Forms are available at the back of Church. Please contact the office for more details. Each year the Electoral Roll is revised before the APCM (17 May 2023) If you are not already on the roll and would like to be on it for this year, please complete a form and place in the collection box or give in to the office by Sunday 30th April 20’s & 30’s Social - Liz and Rob Swaile are hosting a 20’s & 30’s Social at their house on Friday 19th May from 8:30pm Please bring your own drinks, and nibbles will be provided. Help in Creche and children’s groups – We are looking for extra volunteers to assist with Sunday Creche and Childrens group.
