Wednesday 9th February there will be two prayer walks and you are very welcome to join us at one or for both. Louise will warmly welcome you, you do not need to know how to pray or have been to anything like this before. We’ll just see where God leads us. It’s fine if you need to leave early or to carry on beyond the finish time. Walk 1 arrive at front of church from 11, walking from 11:15am-12 midday -local prayer walk around the church grounds, past the primary school and immediate roads. Walk 2 arrive at front of church from 12:45 pm, walking from 1-2pm (tbc) - a more pacey lunch break prayer walk, along the River Lea towards Stansted Abbotts Coffee Mornings A place of friendship and community, Just drop in for refreshment, a natter and a listening ear. Friday mornings, 10am – 12noon, in the Church Away day at home - Saturday 26th February 2022 Booking Now for our church Away Day (at home this time!!) returns, with times of worship, encounter, teaching, fun and laughter. There will also be a Children’s and Youth programme for the day. Our guest speaker is the Reverend Nicola Moy. She is the vicar of Christ Church W4 in Chiswick, a ministry partner of CPAS, a speaker at Lee Abbey and was on the leadership team of New Wine. She loves travel and has ministered in India, Africa and Asia, but not yet South America! She is married to Richard, the new National Director of SOMA UK, and they have 3 school aged children and a dog!! Prior to ordination she was an RE teacher. We are pleased to be running this course on Thursday evenings from 3rd March. 14th February we are opening the church for another fun inflatables event. If you are a part of Christ Church we would love to have you join the team running this event. There will be two sessions that will require people serving from 9.30-12.45am, and then a relaxed session for SEN children and their families serving2.30-5.15pm Ideas of ways you could serve; Welcoming, Manning inflatables, Serving refreshments, Chatting/praying with parents, Overseeing craft activities, Door person, Donations of cakes or savoury snacks, Praying for this event, Spreading the word about this event Wondering when the next dates will be?
