In little over a week, we've already had offers of help from more than 50 Christ Church families! Thank you to everyone who has responded and to those who continue to think and pray about how they can best respond. We already have the capacity to welcome around 10 families to Ware, which is just amazing. We are therefore reaching out through various networks to try and connect would-be sponsors with Ukrainian families. It's hard to know how quick, or not, this process will be, particularly as the war ebbs and flows alongside the needs of those whose greatest desire is simply to go home. So please bear with us and continue to pray that the Lord will help us to make the right connections. If you are willing to offer any form of help - be it accommodation, physical resources, prayer or practical support - please pledge your support by clicking on this link If you have any questions, please talk to Martin Rich or email [email protected]. Our Legacy Project - Blessing others as we have been blessed The people of Christ Church have always embraced opportunities to use our resources to reach out to others. The recent redevelopment of the office and the Church building was purposed to underpin this vision for a generation to come. Continuing on this theme, the PCC has recommitted to complete the original objectives of the redevelopment project, and to raise the last of the funds needed to enable the Church to be “debt free”. Included as a key objective of the project is that 10% of all personal gifting for the redevelopment should be used to create lasting legacy projects which bless others. The many relationships that Christ Church already enjoys will form the core of our focus to become recipients of our legacy funding - and projects that enable others to learn of God’s word, to grow in faith and to have a long lasting kingdom impact are our mission. A huge thank you to all those of you have given over £1million towards the project, the last Gap is £150,000 that we would like to raise in this Easter season and if you would like to join in with thanks for all that God is doing through us the link is: https://www.christchurchware.co.uk/giving.html Thank you to all those who have given an additional £8,000 so far.
