Our church Away Day (at home this time!!) returns, with times of worship, encounter, teaching, fun and laughter. There will also be a Children’s and youth programme for the day. Our guest speaker is the Reverend Nicola Moy. She is the vicar of Christ Church W4 in Chiswick, a ministry partner of CPAS, a speaker at Lee Abbey and was on the leadership team of New Wine. She loves travel and has ministered in India, Africa and Asia, but not yet South America! She is married to Richard, the new National Director of SOMA UK, and they have 3 school aged children and a dog!! Prior to ordination she was an RE teacher. Further details in the New Year. Inter-church Quiz – Saturday 22nd January 2022 Christ Church will be hosting the Inter-church Quiz on Saturday 22nd January at 7.30 p.m. Interested teams (maximum 8 people) should register with Christ Church Office by phone (01920 487267) or email ([email protected]). Any individuals not in teams can be grouped on the night. We will not be providing food this year, so please bring your own nibbles and drinks (alcoholic drinks allowed). We will provide tea and coffee. All money raised will be going to Tearfund in Rwanda. The suggested donation is £5 per head. Ware Civic Society Award We are delighted to share with you that the Christ Church refurbishment project was highly commended in the annual Civic Society Awards, narrowly missing out on being the winning entry this year.
