SEVEN
The Next Seven service is on Sunday 14th May - This term we are looking at personal stories of God at Work today
Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm.  SEVEN is a lively, spirit lead service with worship, teaching and fellowship.  We meet together after the service socially; it would be good to see you.

Ascension Day – 18th May
Service at 7:30am in Church with prayers for our community and the world followed by Croissants Tea/Coffee
 

Churches Together – 25th May
Picnic and Prayers 7:30pm in Christ Church Grounds or inside if wet.  Please bring your own picnic and enjoy chatting with one another followed by a time of prayer together as part of “Thy Kingdom Come” Week
 

MADD IN MAY
Gentlemen, gentlemen, We have landed in the merry month of May, meaning a Men Active During the Day (MADD) meeting is fast approaching!
Meeting Thursday 18th May, 11.30am, Christ Church, Ware.
Our guest will be Paul Stubbs.  Paul works for Samaritan’s Purse; as the Operations Manager he has been part of the senior team leading Operation Christmas Child (the shoebox appeal) in the UK.  Paul also took a leading role in the SP Disaster Assistance Response last year after the invasion of the Ukraine.
Look forward to seeing you there.  All men are most welcome!!!
 

20’s & 30’s Social -  Liz and Rob Swaile are hosting a 20’s & 30’s Social at their house on Friday 19th May from 8:30pm  Please bring your own drinks, and nibbles will be provided.  Message Louise or the office for more details incl. their address and/or if you’d like to host a similar event.
 

Help in Creche and children’s groups – We are looking for extra volunteers to assist with Sunday Creche and Childrens group.  If you would like any further information, please speak to Lizzie Castle [email protected]
 

Christ Church is a Fairtrade church, meaning that we aim to use Fairtrade products including tea and coffee after services and during church-based activities. We also encourage church members to buy and use such products at home. Every year Ware Fairtrade Committee holds a dinner, to which you are invited! It will be held on Tuesday May 23rd at Ware Rugby Club, Hoe Lane, at 7.30 for 8pm. A 3-course dinner will be served using Fairtrade ingredients and including a glass of Fairtrade wine or fruit juice. Tickets are £25 each. If you would like to attend, please see Mary Salter or contact her via the Church office.
 

Big Church Festival, 27th & 28th May - Big Church Festival is a weekend event of live Christian music in West Sussex  (https://www.bigchurchfestival.com/) . A few of us will be camping there for the weekend and would welcome anyone interested in coming to join our group. You can book via this link https://bigchurch.group/2023/warehh . Parent’s Social (0-11) – SAVE THE DATE - Monday 12th June 8pm in Church.  This is a space to discuss sharing our faith with our children and how to pray for and with them.  Also, this is a space to meet and socialise with other parents.
 

Women’s Day ––Saturday 17th June, 2.30-7.30pm, join us as we worship, share food, unwind, pray, hear stories, be creative and have fun. For ALL women of ALL ages at Christ Church (not under 18's). Please spread the word!
We will be praying for the event every Tuesday at 2pm.  Email [email protected] if you'd like to come, or information on how to be involved, or to join us as we prepare in prayer
