Being a Christian teenager can be really tough and so the role of the mentor provides a safe opportunity for young people to talk through life, navigate different pressures, encourage them in their faith and be supported in prayer. It is a really effective way for young people to be heard, befriended and supported. Several of our young people have expressed an interest in having a mentor and so now in order for this to work, we need mentors! If you are interested in finding out more about what this involves, please come along Thursday 20th January 8pm in the church centre. If you are feeling the nudge to do it but are unsure if it is for you or you have questions then please do speak to me and I would love to chat it through with you.
