Weekly Update

Dear Friends,
This weekend we journey through Easter to understand the depths of God’s Love for us.  Why not Join Us on Good Friday at 10:30am to understand we are forgiven and Easter Sunday to know and celebrate the Resurrection and the Life we are invited into.
This Sunday  we celebrate EASTER at  The Truth of Easter Matthew 28:1-10.   Join us at 9 am or 10.30 am in church.  You can also join us as usual every Sunday at 10.30 am on our live stream. Live Stream link: https://www.christchurchware.co.uk/live-stream.html

SEVEN  The next  Seven Service is on – 14th April 7pm in Church. Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm.

Join In! Easter Crafts and Café - Monday 8th April 10.30-12 for ages 3-11. Church centre. No booking required  
Help needed! Are you able to serve refreshments, welcome people or show the children the different craft activities? It is a really fun event where children enjoy doing crafts at their tables with parents while eating yummy treats. Please speak to Jess [email protected]
 

Can you help? Our Sunday morning 3-5s group (Bubbles) needs two more people to join the team. We are currently struggling to fill a rota for the coming term. Helping or leading  just once a month would make a huge difference. Please speak to Jess if you are interested in finding out more.  If you don’t have a current DBS with us, you will need to go through our safer recruitment process.

 
Help for St. Mark’s Colney Heath Away Day
We will be hosting the Away Day for St. Mark's Colney Heath, where Caroline Keightley, our former curate, is now the Vicar. Would a few people be willing to help serve refreshments on Saturday, 4th May? Would also a small group be willing to run a BBQ for them in the evening? Please email the church office is you are able to help.
 

Request – do you have or would you like to donate a Small Flat Screen Monitor/TV for use with the children.  Please contact the office.

Prayer Space In the prayer area at the back of church there are cards for you to leave a; Testimony, Things to Pray for, as well as words for us as a Church.  The Staff team will then take time to pray during for them during the week.  Please place completed cards in the offertory box or give to a member of the clergy.

Eco tip for March - Single use plastics review
Look around your home. Take note of how many single-use plastic items you see. Single-use plastic is everywhere, especially in our kitchens and bathrooms, but reducing your dependence on single-use plastic is easier than you might think.  For example, bringing a reusable cotton tote bag when you go shopping and purchasing loose fruits and veggies will significantly reduce the plastic in your home. You can also stop buying bottled water. Instead, take a reusable water bottle everywhere you go.
