Oasis
Oasis lone parent group are meeting this Saturday, 29th June at Great Amwell Scout Hut, London Road, Ware SG12 9NH from 4 till 7 pm for woodland walks, BBQ, chat and games.  If you’re parenting alone, you are very welcome, with or without children. 

Summer Young Peoples opportunities

We have a wonderful group of children at Christ Church and some great connections with children in the community.  We want to continue to grow these relationships and share the good news of Jesus with more and more children.  This can only happen with your support.  ​

Year 6 events:

• Year 6 and youth BBQ Wednesday 29th June 7.30pm outside church centre. We will welcome the year 6s and this will be the start of them joining our weekly midweek group. After the BBQ they can continue to come along on a Wednesday evening for the rest of the term.

Welcome to Marcus & Judith
We are planning a bring your own Picnic Lunch on Sunday 3rd July at 12:15 (on the school field if dry)  – to meet with Marcus, Judith and Ruby and each other.

Marcus Ordination
If anyone would like to attend Marcus’s ordination at St. Albans Cathedral it is at 4pm Saturday 2nd July. ​

APCM Update

Thanks to a partnership with the Diocese, we are looking to be able to appoint an Assistant Pastor at Christ Church.  So that we are able to strengthen the community, and in due course resource other churches and mission opportunities.  The Job description is now available or to find out more contact John Hookway via the office.  Please be praying about the exciting opportunities in front of us.

PCC Secretary need
The PCC Secretary is key role to the operation of the PCC.  This the role includes; 1 meeting (evening) a month, plus 2/3 hours of prep for the meeting.  If you are interested in this position please talk to a Church warden, Vicar or current PCC member if you would like to know more.
