We have had over 1000 children/adults visiting us at Easter Explored this week. We have seen beautiful reactions from the children as they enter the church and especially when our narrators turn water into wine! We have had lots of very positive feedback, it has been exhausting but worth it. We have really loved sharing with them the journey of Easter and telling them the story of Jesus A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has helped to make this possible from allowing us to borrow your “stuff”, helping us set up and clear down, painting scenery, being narrators, being behind the scenes literally and all your support and prayers - JESS If you have lent anything you wish to be returned, please contact the office. Assistant Children’s Pastor The PCC is delighted to announce the appointment of an assistant children's pastor for the equivalent of 2 days a week. Lizzie Castle is a fully qualified and experienced teacher and has been already serving in the church. She is going to be able to support Jess in following up Easter Explored and the ministry on Sundays with its amazing volunteers. Lizzie will be due though to go on maternity leave later on this year and so will be helping support Children’s Church for the planning of that time, returning at the end of her maternity leave. During this time the PCC will look to support Jess and all the children's ministry with a temporary maternity cover for the post of assistant children's pastor, and will make details known in due course. Thank you so much for all your support and prayers at this exciting time with our children and young people.
