This Sunday at 9am Service are exploring Living the Light of Eternity – Certain Hope Romans 8:18-38 and the 10:30am Service is Exploring Just Another Monday – Reflections on Discipleship 2 Timothy 2:1-7 & 15.  Do join us at 9 am or 10.30 am in church. SEVEN 
​The Seven Service is on THIS Sunday 24thh September – 7pm in Church – What’s God Like. Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm.  SEVEN is a lively, spirit led service with worship, teaching and fellowship.  We meet together after the service socially; it would be good to see you.

Harvest Service 1st October NEXT WEEK
We will be celebrating Harvest at the morning services on Sunday 1stOctober
We will be supporting the work of the Hertford & Disrict food bank Harvest Festival | Hertford & District Foodbank
If you would like to contribute, the items they require are;  Tinned Tomatoes, Baked Beans, Tinned Soup, Instant Mash, UHT Milk, Fruit Juice, Pasta, Tinned Rice Pudding, Tinned Custard , Biscuits  Please bring items along to the services where they will be re-distributed to the Foodbank
 

Wednesday Welcome – 27th September 2:30pm in Church Centre Communion and Talk from Norman Richards Wednesday Welcome meet to share news and prayer requests and a chance to get to know people over tea and biscuits.  There is a short service with a speaker often giving a bible-based talk.  This group provides a network and care for members
 

Oasis (for those parenting alone or when separated), please feel free to just turn up with or without children Saturday 30th September 4 till 7pm church centre - sports, craft, jacket potatoes and fillings, cake and puddings.  See you there!

Ministry Leaders Tuesday 12th October, 7.30-9.30pm Leaders evening for teaching with; cheese, wine and soft drinks. Come along if you oversee any group that runs at Christ Church from the alpha course or finance committee, to the missions team or Wednesday Welcome. All childrens and youth volunteers are included as you lead our children and young people. If you’re unsure whether this applies to you feel free to email us or ask one of the staff team,
 

JOIN IN! Would you like to be involved? Join In is an event for parents/carers and children to come to together, with bouncy castle, soft play, games, crafts, Bible story and café.  We are running two Join In days on Monday 23rd & Tuesday 24th October and we need your help!  We have increased to two days due to the number of people who want to come along to this event (which is very exciting!!) 
Monday 10-12am and 2-4pm and Tuesday 10-12am and 1-2.30pm (SEN session)
Team would be required to be there 30 mins before session start time for prayer and briefing.
Help needed with- Welcome, monitor inflatables, serve refreshments, chat/pray with adults, craft, bake a cake, move chairs.

Operation Christmas Child 2023
This is a simple way to make a real difference to the life of a child at Christmas.  Can you find the time to fill a shoe box with a few inexpensive gifts?

Christ Church @ New Wine 2024 – 25-30 July 2024 New Wine 24 - New Wine (new-wine.org)  If you are thinking of coming we encourage you to book as soon as possible as ticket are selling fast.
For those of you who might think Camping is not for you … (I don’t have the equipment for this) – Christ Church has a Group Camp area.  All you need to do is bring along a tent, sleeping bag and your own personal luxuries.  We will have a central /shared area for socialising and cooking together.
 

Prayer Space In the prayer area at the back of church there are cards for you to leave a; Testimony, Things to Pray for, as well as words for us as a Church.  The Staff team will then take time to pray during for them during the week.  Please place completed cards in the offertory box or give to a member of the clergy.
