This Week
SEVEN This Sunday is the Seven Service  - 22nd October – 7pm in Church – What’s God Like. Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm.  SEVEN is a lively, spirit led service with worship, teaching and fellowship.  We meet together after the service socially; it would be good to see you.

 
CAKE and PRAYER NEEDED for JOIN IN!  Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th October
We have approx. 400 people coming through our doors for JOIN IN
We want to cover the event in prayer so would like people to commit to praying for us during the morning and afternoon sessions each day – please let Jess know.
We also need LOTS of cake – this can be dropped off on Sunday or during the sessions
 

Light Party
31st October 6-8pm church family disco (light party) come dressed in your brightest outfit as we celebrate all that Jesus has done to overcome the darkness.  Goody bags will be provided! (Parents to stay with their children, please email [email protected] if you'd like to help)
 

Christmas Choir
We are delighted that Mark Dillon has agreed to lead the choir for the Carols by Candle light service.
Rehearsals be on Tuesday evenings 7.30 to 9.15 from 14th November to 12th December. All abilities welcome, come along and have a go!  Enthusiasm is more important that musical ability.   Further reminder nearer the time.

Bereavement Journey:
We will be running the Bereavement Journey on Monday evenings from 5 February to 18 March 2024. If you would like to be involved with facilitating groups, refreshments etc, please contact [email protected] for more information. Thank you.

 
Operation Christmas Child 2023
This is a simple way to make a real difference to the life of a child at Christmas.  Can you find the time to fill a shoe box with a few inexpensive gifts?

Mary & Peter Yates Silver Wedding
A Service of Thanksgiving will be held in the Church on Monday 30th October at 12 noon, to celebrate Mary and Peter Yates' silver wedding anniversary. All Church members are welcome.
 
Ware Christmas Together CHRISTMAS DAY Lunch will returned again this year.  A friendly, free Christmas Lunch, originally set up by Ware Churches Together and running for over 20 years. We provide delicious food, company, warmth, and a memorable Christmas Day for those who would otherwise be on their own.  To sign up as a guest or helper for the lunch people can email: [email protected] (see leaflets at back of Church)
 

Christ Church @ New Wine 2024 – 25-30 July 2024 New Wine 24 - New Wine (new-wine.org)  If you are thinking of coming we encourage you to book as soon as possible as ticket are selling fast
For those of you who might think Camping is not for you … (I don’t have the equipment for this) – Christ Church has a Group Camp area.  All you need to do is bring along a tent, sleeping bag and your own personal luxuries.  We will have a central /shared area for socialising and cooking together
 

Prayer Space In the prayer area at the back of church there are cards for you to leave a; Testimony, Things to Pray for, as well as words for us as a Church.  The Staff team will then take time to pray during for them during the week.  Please place completed cards in the offertory box or give to a member of the clergy.
