Please do be praying for the candidates and join us for what will be a very special service, this will also be on our live stream. Sunday evening 7 Service’s We are looking to redevelop the 7.00pm service from the 28th of Nov, and we are having a planning meeting on Thursday the 21st of October at 8pm. We currently need help in various ways to support the life and ministry of the church. If any of these areas of ministry are of interest to you please do not hesitate to contact the office, chat to one of the church wardens, Jess or the Operations Manager. Half-Term 'Join In' Family Fun We would love to run a half-term family fun session on Thursday 28th October 10-12 and 1-3 with games, craft, games and bible storytelling for 0-11s. We need your help! Can you offer to help with:
Oasis Oasis is Christ Church’s ministry to those who are parenting alone and their children. Prior to lockdown, we held a monthly group in the church centre on Saturday afternoon/evening. We plan to re-launch meeting from November. If you have an interest in helping in this ministry, know of a single parent who would benefit from coming along or would like to find out more please contact the office. Please contact the team with any ideas or suggestions: [email protected] Ware’s the Film Christ Church is delighted to be a venue for the inaugural Ware film festival from 10th to 16th October. Christ Church is showing Hidden Figures on Tuesday 12th October- doors open at 6.30 for 7.00 start. Tickets to all films and venues are free and can be booked at https://waretowncouncil.gov.uk/film Looking after yourself with Pilates Thanks you to those who have expressed interest in the attending - we have enough to start the course. The course will start on Tuesday 19th October at 9.30 am in church at a cost of £8 per person. You need to bring an exercise mat, towel and bottle of water. Christians Against Poverty CAP We run a Christians Against Poverty UK debt centre at Christ Church, providing a free debt counselling service to the local community, and supporters are an important part of that service. Supporters accompany the debt centre manager when visiting clients, mainly to be another friendly face and encouraging presence. We are having a social and training event for anyone who already is, or who might like to be, a CAP Client Supporter on Thursday 14th October, 9:30 am in the Church centre.
