Please note that the office will be closed during the Christmas period from 12:30 on 23rd December till 9am on 3rd January 2023 Alpha 24th January – 14th March. 7.30 – 9.15pm “Alpha is a chance to explore life and the Christian Faith in a friendly, open and informal environment” If you have a friend or family member who might be interested in exploring the Christian faith why not invite them to Alpha. There will be food, a short talk and a time to discuss the talk and much more. Register your interest at [email protected] Why not start the New Year in Prayer … 24 – 7 Prayer 8th – 15th January We want to start the year in Prayer, taking time to meet with God corporately and individually. Wednesday 11th Jan. 8pm – We would particularly like you to join us to gather in Prayer & Worship for a special night of praising and meeting with God. John will do some teaching on listening to God and we’ll have time and space to get practical doing this. Individually The Church will be set up with prayer stations/activities for you to pray in different ways, these stations will be split across the mezzanine (Upper Room) and at the foot of the Cross on the stage. You can book a slot to come in and pray and explore the space, slots can be booked exclusively for you or you can leave it open for others to join. If you opt for an overnight slot we will be in touch in the New Year with details of how this will work. Join us for an afternoon of activities, crafts, games and an opportunity to chat and make new friends. If you would like to make a donation to support the work of Oasis gifts can be placed in the collection box or made on line. Christians Against Poverty – CAP There is CAP debt centre, based at Christ Church, providing a free debt counselling service to the local community. A drop in session is available every Thursday between 11:30am and 1:00pm in the main hall of the Christ Church centre if you'd like to find out more about accessing our services or just have a chat. You could consider making a financial donation to support those in need through CAP, Oasis and our existing hardship fund.
