Service of the Word – 9th June 12:15pm in Church (after the Friday Coffee Morning 10-12).  This service is on the second Friday of the month.  The service is an opportunity for people to attend church during the week and to connect with God.
 

SEVEN
The next Seven Service is on 11th June - This term we are looking at personal stories of God at Work today
Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm.  SEVEN is a lively, spirit led service with worship, teaching and fellowship.  We meet together after the service socially; it would be good to see you.
 

Year 6 Pizza Picnic -   Join us on Sunday 4th June for a pizza picnic 12.15-2pm!   To celebrate their time in children’s church and to help with transition we are having a time just for our wonderful year 6s.  This will include food, games and time chatting about the move to secondary school and praying together.  Please RSVP to [email protected] and also let us know any dietary requirements.

Women’s Day Saturday 17th June 2.30-7.30pm join us as we worship, share food, unwind, pray, hear stories, be creative and have fun. For ALL women of ALL ages at Christ Church (not under 18's). Please spread the word!
Optional Kit list for the day; Bible, Notebook (if you like making notes!), Reading book (if you like reading!), Games (if you like games!), Drinks and snacks for you or to share, your own craft project (if you like doing them!), Donation for chip shop chips (if you like chips!)

Ordination Service – 2nd July 2023, 7pm at Christ Church
We are delighted to be hosting Marcus Hart, Claire Finlay, Stephen Fraser & James Barlow Ordination Service at Christ Church.  We are expecting a lot of visitors to join them and we are all invited.  If you would like to help with refreshments, stewarding, car parking etc.   please let me the office know.

Children’s Church Team Meeting – Saturday 10th June 9.30-11.30am in church, starting with coffee and croissants! A time for the team to reflect and celebrate, plan and look ahead to the coming year.

Parent’s Social -  Parents of 0-11’s you are invited Monday 12th June 8pm in Church. 
Would you like to meet more parents? Want to pray with your children but not sure where to start? Do you have some wisdom to share? Come along!

• We love your children but only see them for an hour each week, we want to support you in helping your children grow in faith.  
• We will have time to socialise, share tips and creative ideas and pray together.

 

Babies and Toddlers Course
Would you like to know more about growing your baby’s or toddler’s faith from the comfort of your living room? Parenting for Faith are running this online course on 13th June, 20th June, 27th June and 4th July. John and Lizzie Castle are hosting a Christ Church group from 8-9. If you would like more information, please contact the office.


Summer fun! - Help needed please
Sundays:  In order to give our wonderful children’s and youth team a break over the summer Sundays we are looking for volunteers for the following dates to help with either the crèche (0-3, 3 people needed), children (3-11, ideally a team of 4), youth (11-14, 2 people). Sessions will be prepared for you.
30th July, 6th August, 13th August, 20th August, 27th August
Summer Blast: Fun activity mornings for children in the local area. Team required for each morning. Will likely include games, crafts and bible story. The specifics are still being worked out so if you would like to be part of the planning please get in touch!
