THIS SUNDAY FINAL Summer Picnic – after 10:30 Service in Church Garden SEVEN Seven Summer Special – 20th August – , 7pm on the school field. An evening of desserts, worship and testimony sharing! Everyone welcome! Monthly prayer meeting - Monday 21st August 10-11am in the Youth Wing Church Centre (3rd Monday). Everyone is welcome to join us to pray for the world, local community and life at Christ Church. URGENT Practical Help is required… Christ Church School needs some help with sprucing up an outside area, ready for the children’s return after summer. Are you able to spare some time to assist Roger Tiffen and Roger Evans to repaint fencing and storage in the activity area. If you can spare a few hours in the afternoon on Monday 21st & Tuesday 22nd August, we would be grateful if you could come and join us. Contact the office for more details. Spaces which still need filling are: 20th Aug 5-10’s 27th Aug 0-5’s Dates for the Diary: 6th September from 7:45pm – Prayer and Worship 26th September 11AM – 12:30PM – Alpha Day Time Course Starts– Videos, Discussion, Tea & Cake 25th November 9:30M – 3:30PM – Need help talking about Jesus? A day that will up skill you in how to have a natural conversation about your faith in Jesus with your friends and colleagues (without sounding weird!) Please be praying for the Christ Church Team who are supporting other Churches during the Summer period. Support on Sound – The 9am Service are looking for some additional help with Sound/Media to support our established team of volunteers. It is run by Bed & Herts Historic Churches Trust, who kindly gave us a grant towards the refurbishment There are two ways you can get involved.
Prayer Space In the prayer area at the back of church there are cards for you to leave a; Testimony, Things to Pray for, as well as words for us as a Church. The Staff team will then take time to pray during for them during the week. Please place completed cards in the offertory box or give to a member of the clergy.
