Dear Friends, I hope that you have enjoyed a happy festive season, even though a rather different one this year. You can catch up with any of Christmas services or teaching series on our YouTube channel HERE. Sunday 3rd January I am looking forward to sharing with you the verse that the Lord gave me for Christ Church over 10 years ago, it is on my study wall and I am continually praying it for us all. Romans 15:13 - ‘May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.’ We are continuing to receive updated guidance, and as our team have worked so hard this year, we want to make sure that they also get some rest over the Christmas period. Therefore the ‘In person’ service on the 3rd of January will be at 10.30 only. You will need to book your place HERE, and in line with the latest current guidance for Tier 4, our children’s groups will be via Zoom. The Livestream will continue through all Sundays at 10.30am HERE. Thank you for all your support, encouragement and prayers, this year. It is great to know that we have such a wonderfully encouraging and supportive church community here. Please do continue to check out our website, email and Facebook pages for all the latest updates, as we continue to review, as all the latest guidance is updated. Opportunities to explore Faith

Would you like to appreciate how the books of the Bible fit together to tell a unique story, forming the basis of our faith? Whether you are starting out with the Bible or have known it a long time, The Bible Course is a great resource to deepen our appreciation of how it can speak to us afresh. Each session of just over an hour has a combination of on-line teaching, a clear graphical course booklet, and group discussion. In the New Year many of our Life Groups will follow this journey by Zoom. We invite you, if you are not in one of our small groups, to join The Bible Course by participating in an existing group or a dedicated new group. This could be an eight-week commitment or a new chance to be encouraged by continuing to be a part of a group. If you would like to participate or need further information please contact Richard ([email protected]) or email the church office [email protected] The Bereavement Journey We are hosting the Bereavement Journey for all those who have suffered loss this year starting on 2nd February 2021, further details in the New Year. The link is available from the office (please don’t share the link on social media). Please note these will resume on Friday 8th January.
