Can you find the time to fill a shoe box with a few inexpensive gifts? This year, many shoeboxes will be going to Ukraine or to neighbouring countries that have taken in refugees. If you wish to prepare a box or boxes, just follow the instructions on the latest leaflet, and please provide £5 per box towards transport costs. Leaflets are available from Andrew Du Boulay, at the back of church or from the office. Empty pre-decorated flat-pack shoe boxes are also available from me at 50p per box. We also value donated items such as knitted hats, A5 sized notebooks, soaps, and small toys (must be new) etc. Please take your shoebox gifts or fillers to the church but only during National Collections Week (14th to 21st November). The church will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday in that period from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. As an alternative, you can prepare a box entirely online. It costs £20 (which includes the £5 for shipping) and you can choose which items you want to go in your box. You can also include a photo and a message. Please use the following link: https://shoeboxonline.samaritans-purse.org.uk/ If you have any questions, please contact Andrew du Boulay [email protected] Thank you so much for your support.
