Please note worshippers MUST wear face coverings in church. Children’s ministry and events these are in-person during the 10.30am service for Bubbles, Splash and Extreme. Please see your emails or contact the office and book via the website. This Sunday (11th) there will be communion at the end of the 10.30am service. Communion at the 9am service will be on the 18th of October. There is also a midweek communion service at 10.30am on Thursday the 15th of October. No need to book. The next Children’s family service is on the 18th of October at 4pm and can be booked HERE. 
Date for your diary: Starting 24th October on-line parenting course from Parenting for Faith – a series of 8 sessions spread over the winter months. Please see more HERE. Thinking ahead to the Children’s Christmas Eve Service, if anyone has any hand puppets Jess Cole is in need of a donkey, a mouse, cows and a camel. Email: [email protected] if you can help! Youth ministry and events look out for our email updates, which have details of our current regular and extra youth activities. If you have not received it please contact the office. On the 18th October we have in-person Youth ministry at our 10.30am service for school years 7-9 – please book HERE. Youth Pastor - Following Christians departure in January we are looking to recruit his replacement. If you know anyone who may be interested please tell them to look on our website for all of the information. Please note our APCM took place on Wednesday 7th October 2020. There were vacancies for four PCC Trustees and four Deanery Synod reps and the following were duly elected: Church Wardens – Bob Barker and Cheryl Bevan PCC - Gary Parkes and Keith Chamberlain Deanery Synod representatives - Diana Perkins, David Briggs, Catriona Baker The annual report and various papers for the meeting are available on our website HERE and a few printed copies are in church. We recorded the vicars and wardens comments and these are available on the Christ Church YouTube Channel HERE. Prayer meetings: We have a church prayer meeting each Friday at 10.00 am via Zoom, for our church and community. Grab a coffee and join in. The link will be in the following email or contact the office (please don’t share the link on social media). Church Magazine- The next magazine will be our Christmas edition. The deadline for submitting articles is 12th November, so why not have a go at writing something. 500 words is ideal length. All articles to be sent to [email protected].
Help is needed on Sunday mornings particularly leading prayers and bible reading at both services but particularly at the 9am service.
