Dear Friends, This Sunday we continue our Summer Series of Learning from Jonah – A Prophetic Word, Jonah 3. Do join us at 9 am or 10.30 am in church. Picnics – after 10:30 Service in Church Garden Service of the Word - 11th August, 12:15pm in Church (after the Friday Coffee Morning 10-12). This service is on the second Friday of the month. The service is an opportunity for people to attend church during the week and to connect with God. Rounders – Wednesday 16th August 7:30pm on School field - Come to play, cheer or chat – all welcome SEVEN Seven Summer Special – 20th August – , 7pm on the school field. An evening of desserts, worship and testimony sharing! Everyone welcome! Summer fun! Sundays: We are running children’s and youth groups over the summer but in order for this to happen we need volunteers to help us. Spaces which still need filling are: 27th Aug 0-5’s Summer Blast: Fun activity mornings for children in the local area. Dates for the Diary: 6th September from 7:45pm – Prayer and Worship 26th September 11AM – 12:30PM – Alpha Day Time Course– Videos, Discussion, Tea & Cake 25th November 9:30M – 3:30PM – Need help talking about Jesus? A day that will up skill you in how to have a natural conversation about your faith in Jesus with your friends and colleagues (without sounding weird!) Please praying for the Christ Church Team who are supporting other Churches during the Summer period. This Sunday Mary Salter is covering for Holy Trinity, Wareside Support on Sound – The 9am Service are looking for some additional help with Sound/Media to support our established team of volunteers. Full Training will be given – please contact the office New Wine 2024 – 25th – 20th July @ Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet New Wine 24 Prayer Space In the prayer area at the back of church there are cards for you to leave a; Testimony, Things to Pray for, as well as words for us as a Church. The Staff team will then take time to pray during for them during the week. Please place completed cards in the offertory box or give to a member of the clergy.
