WELCOME to our first Sunday of services in the newly refurbished building!
Please note that children will start in church today.
 
A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has helped us move back into church over the past two days!
Also, thank you to everyone who has helped and contributed to the the set up and clear away at the Sunday services since January this year, when we moved into our temporary church and  to Christ Church School for the use of the hall.
 
Christmas Choir:  Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from 7.45 in the Church Centre.  Do come along and have a go!  Enthusiasm is more important that musical ability.

MADD members of Christ Church, Ware,  Diaries at the ready ........ November meeting - change of date and venue!  The last MADD meeting of 2019 meeting will be in Christ Church on Thursday 28th November at 11.30am (new date, one week later than planned).  Before the meeting we will meet at 11am to pray for our newly refurbished church!   Yes we meet in Christ Church 28th November 2019 at 11.30am, 11am to pray.
 
Men’s Christmas Curry : Thursday 5th December at 7.45 pm  Neelakash Indian Restaurant .  Price is £20 per person for appetisers, poppadum’s  and selection of main courses.  Bar drinks, coffee and dessert extra as usual.  Contact the office.
 
Operation Christmas Child   Many thanks to all those who donated shoebox gifts and fillers. . If anyone wants to visit or volunteer at the processing centre at Harlow, it is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00 until 6th December, also Wednesday evenings for Life Groups: 20th Nov and 27th Nov. Carols at Easneye – Wednesday 4th December, 7..30pm.  All Welcome.   As we begin the Advent season leading up to Christmas, our friends at All Nations Christian College would love to invite you to enjoy a multicultural carol service at Easneye, SG12 8LX. There will be refreshments and an art exhibition and you are very welcome, bring some friends too! 
 
Creche Christmas gathering  We welcome all creche children to bring their parents and siblings to come on the 15th December at 2pm at 35 Canons Road. Louise and Dave Brett welcome you to come and play, do some Christmas activities and have a chat.
 
The funeral of Bert Chatfield (formerly organist at Christ Church), will take place at 11.15 am, on  Wednesday 11th December, at St Paul’s Hoddesdon, then Willowbrook Crematorium at 12.15.  Please be praying for the family.
 
Please remember familiarisation training in the new building will take place on Wednesday 2pm Thursday 2pm and 8pm. 

PRAY PRAY PRAY!!!  Tuesday prayers at 12.30 pm weekly, Third Monday of the month at 10 am in the Youth Wing: Second Monday evenings 8 – 9 pm all in the Church Centre.
 
Ann Dawson is retiring at the end of the year from her role as Parish Administrator. Christ Church  are therefore seeking a replacement.  If you know of anyone who might be interested, please ask them to contact Martin.   The role is for 5 mornings a week, 191/2 hours in total. The person we are seeking is a person with a heart to serve, who is passionate about administration, has an enquiring mind to help modernise our procedures, experienced with IT and social media platforms, has a knowledge of book keeping software and loves meeting people. Ecclesiastical Insurance  are launching 12 days of giving and once again  will be donating, £1,000 to 120 charities.  They have given funding to all kinds of causes over the years and  know what a huge difference £1,000 can make to a charity and those they support. Thank you to everyone who has bought a copy of my booklet “Children”.  The money from the sales is sufficient to buy two chairs.  Pam Robinson.  A few copies are still available, please contact the office.

Toddlers are desperate for helpers on Friday mornings from 9.00 am to 11.30 am. Help is needed in setting up and getting alongside the mums/carers. Why not come along and try a session to see if this could be for you?  You will not need to commit to every week, just to a regular slot. Contact the office for more information or just turn up on a Friday morning.
