Christmas Service reminder Following the government’s announcement placing Ware into tier 4: Children’s Christmas eve service on line only this year: this can be watched via our Live Stream page, Facebook or YouTube Channel at 4.00pm on Christmas Eve, or on catch up afterwards. This is available because of the hard work of our creative team and many members of Christ church over this year. Thank you! We are following all the relevant guidance and will be holding a reduced capacity in person, Christmas eve communion Service at 11.00pm and a Christmas morning communion Service at 10.00am. Entry is via ticket only and you can book a place HERE. Please note you must remain in your household or support bubble in tier 4 while attending, and not mingle. There will also be a reduced capacity ‘in person service’ at 10.30 on Sunday the 27th of December. All services need to be pre booked. Sunday 3rd of January I am looking forward to sharing with you the verse that the Lord gave me for Christ Church over 10 years ago, it is on my Study wall and I am praying it for us all. Rom 15:13 ‘May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.’ We are continuing to receive updated guidance, and as our team who have worked so hard this year and we want to make sure that they also get some rest over the Christmas period. Therefore the ‘In person’ service on the 3rd of January will be at 10.30 only. You will need to book via our website, and in line with the latest current guidance for tier 4, our children groups will be via Zoom. Opportunities to explore Faith Alpha On-line A new course will run on-line on zoom on a Monday evening, 7.45 pm start, ending at 9.30 pm. The planned start date is Monday 25th January and the course will run for 6 weeks. Whether you are starting out with the Bible or have known it a long time, The Bible Course is a great resource to deepen our appreciation of how it can speak to us afresh. Each session of just over an hour has a combination of on-line teaching, a clear graphical course booklet, and group discussion. In the New Year many of our Life Groups will follow this journey by Zoom. We invite you, if you are not in one of our small groups, to join The Bible Course by participating in an existing group or a dedicated new group. This could be an eight-week commitment or a new chance to be encouraged by continuing to be a part of a group. Prayer meetings: We have a church prayer meeting each Friday at 10.00 am via Zoom, for our church and community. Grab a coffee and join in.
