Good Friday Church Together Walk of Witness departs from Kibes Lane car park at 9am to Tudor Square for the Service SEVEN The next Seven Service is 27th April 7pm. This term we are looking at Spiritual Gifts. Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm. Wednesday Welcome 23rd April Art and Faith, Richard Jarvest in Church (monthly Wednesday afternoon get together, includes a short service and social time with tea and biscuits. Sad News - In recent weeks, we have sadly lost several cherished members of our Church Community: Olive Cannon, Brian Watson, Evelyn Taylor, and Pam Robinson. Brian Warson's funeral is 6/5/25 2pm at Christ Church Pam Robinson – 19/5/25 2pm at Christ Church Bereavement Journey We will be running the Bereavement Journey onTuesday, 7:30pm – 9:30pm from 29th April to 10th June. For further details please contact [email protected] Summer outings - save the dates! 9th June Church picnic and outing to Stanborough Lakes , after the morning services, more details to follow, Whole Church outing to Stanborough Lakes Meeting from 1.30pm onwards please bring your own picnic, games and activities. There is a small kiosk serving drinks, snacks, and ice creams. You can paddle in the stream or pay for pedalos on the day, but other activities such as the splash park and high ropes need to be booked in advance. We can have a great time together regardless! If you are new to Christ Church and are planning on coming please let us know so that we can be in touch and make sure you find us on the day. Perhaps leave an area of grass uncut, helping the bugs and biodiversity. Or, put in a rainwater butt. I've just bought glyphosate FREE weedkiller for my driveway and paths. If you don't have a garden, I buy basil and parsley from the supermarket and keep them on my kitchen windowsill, and they feed us for weeks. Or, you could get an allotment - details and application on the council website. Prayer Space In the prayer area at the back of church there are cards for you to leave a; Testimony, Things to Pray for, as well as words for us as a Church. The Staff team will then take time to pray during for them during the week. Please place completed cards in the offertory box or give to a member of the clergy.
