The mosaic cross in the church porch
 - a closer look

A creative group called Flawsome made the cross. It represents hope, restoration and new life. But it also represents our journey with God to get there. This video explores the story behind the mosaic cross.

Beautiful images painted on ceramic tiles remind us that our creator God made all things, including us, and declared His creation good.
Imagine choosing a beautiful tile that your friend has lovingly made, and taking a hammer, and smashing it into pieces. But we do just this to God's beautiful creation, shattering relationships, fragmenting the world and making ourselves separate from God.
The mosaic cross represents God taking the brokenness and making a new and beautiful creation through the death and resurrection of His son Jesus.
