Ukraine Support
Dear Friends
We have all been deeply saddened by the unfolding tragedy in Ukraine and believe that God is calling us to respond as the family of Christ Church. The UK government has set up a scheme to enable those escaping the war to come here and we want to welcome as many families into our community as possible. However to do this we need your practical help. To enable us to do all that we can, Martin Rich has agreed to coordinate our response. As a first step, we need to know quickly who is able to help, and in what capacity. So if you are willing to offer any form of help - be it accommodation, physical resources or practical support - please pledge your support by clicking on this link. to subscribe to a mailing list to keep updated and complete the simple form that will appear once you click “subscribe" to tell us what support you can offer. We will get back to you asap to coordinate and make it happen. If you have any questions, please talk to Martin Rich or email ukrainesupport@christchurchware.co.uk. We have been thinking in our recent sermon series about being thankful for all God has done for us, and how our response to God's generosity in blessing Christ Church and pouring out the riches of His grace on us through Jesus is to give generously to others: "Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand" (1 Chronicles 29:14). Now is our opportunity to come together and respond as a family to be God's light shining brightly in the middle of this present darkness.
