Dear Friends, This Sunday - we start a new series The Growth of the Church in Acts – Waiting Acts 1:1-11. Join us at 9 am or 10.30 am in church. This term we are looking at Spiritual Gifts. Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm.
Service of the Word – 9th May 12:15pm in Church (after the Friday Coffee Morning 10-12). This service will be on the second Friday of the month. The service is an opportunity for people to attend church during the week and to connect with God. Bereavement Journey We will be running the Bereavement Journey onTuesday, 7:30pm – 9:30pm on now until to 10th June. For further details please contact [email protected] MADD in May Men Active During the Day(MADD), we have landed in May. Therefore we are fast approaching the May MADD meeting! When - Thursday 15th May 2025, 11.30am in Christ Church, Ware Our Guest in May - Revd Marcus Hart. As Marcus nears the latter stages of his curacy at Christ Church, this is the opportunity to hear about his time in Ware. All men are very, very welcome to the meeting!! 29th June Church picnic and outing to Stanborough Lakes , after the morning services, more details to follow, Whole Church outing to Stanborough Lakes Meeting from 1.30pm onwards please bring your own picnic, games and activities. There is a small kiosk serving drinks, snacks, and ice creams. You can paddle in the stream or pay for pedalos on the day, but other activities such as the splash park and high ropes need to be booked in advance. We can have a great time together regardless! If you are new to Christ Church and are planning on coming please let us know so that we can be in touch and make sure you find us on the day. It's something we all use, every day. Things to look for are: made from sustainable sources such as recycled paper, not bleached, fragrance free, ideally wrapped in paper rather than plastic. If you already buy eco friendly loo roll, could you influence someone else to do likewise, such as your workplace, or your wider family and friends. The celebrations culminate with a major event on Saturday, 31st May with a celebration service, afternoon tea, a missions fair and exhibitions. Steve Tompkins, ANCC Ops Manager, is seeking volunteers to help with car parking, general stewarding and furniture (tables and chairs) moving. In return volunteers will receive entry to the event and an afternoon tea by way of thanks. Help will be needed between 1.30pm and 4.00pm.
