When: Tuesday 28th January, 7.45pm including dinner Where: In Church Contact: [email protected] Sign-up to Alpha The Bereavement Journey Seven free sessions of films and discussion for anyone bereaved anytime, whether grieving a death now, or wanting to explore a previous bereavement that may be unresolved. This course is for bereaved adults to do their own grief work. Join us in church Thursday, 23rd January to 6th March 10am – 12pm. Please contact the office for a registration form: [email protected] We will be running a second course on Tuesday evenings from 29th April to 10th June 2025 from 7:30pm – 9:30pm Wednesday Welcome –- 29th January 2:30pm in Church – Looking forward – Mary Salter Wednesday Welcome is the Fourth Wednesday afternoon of each Month, includes a short service and social time with tea and biscuits Christ Church School Open Day Christ Church CofE VA Primary School and Nursery are having an open day on Saturday 1st February 10am-12pm Come along if you are looking for a Nursey for your child. Soup Sunday – 9th February - Join us after the 10:30am service for Soup. Supporting Leadership On Monday the 10th February and 10th March(from 8.00pm till 9.45pm in the church) we will be holding 2 sessions looking at how we grow and support each other as Christian leaders. These sessions are open to anyone, whether you have a role in leadership at work or the church, or wanting to think about leadership. Legacy Fund Christ Church are giving a tithe of the money donated for the building project. Five years on from the redevelopment of the church the Legacy Group are considering the final applications to the fund which is a tenth of the donations. So far the Legacy Fund has supported and made a real difference to mission projects in this country and around the world. The Legacy Group are meeting in late January, they welcome applications before 24th January 2025. More information from Ros McFiggans or the Christ Church office. Eco Church Spring Cleaning: Could you change any of you cleaning products to something more Eco friendly? Buy one and try it. If it doesn't work well, try a different one. We regularly get Eco toilet cleaner and washing up liquid, but we're still searching for an effective bathroom cleanser, having tried a few.
