This Sunday 25th May 7pm is Seven Service. We will be having a Quiz Night and Pizza. Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm. THIS SUNDAY 25/5/25 Bubbles and Splash Due to a lack of team availability our Bubbles and Splash children's groups will be together in the Main Hall in Centre. If you like to join our fabulous children's team – please contact Lizzie [email protected] Ascension Day Morning Prayer 29th May, 9am In church, with prayers for your community and the world, followed by tea/coffee. Assisted Dying Bill – Norman Richards is hosting two sessions outlining the proposed Assisted Dying Bill as it currently stands. Whilst providing an opportunity for small group discussion and prayer around the subject. 17/6/25 7.30-8.30pm and 20/6/25 12-1pm in Church Church Picnic 29th June 1:30pm, Stanborough Lakes Please bring your own picnic. We will take the red Christ Church banners so look out for them and come find us. Summer outings - save the dates! 13th September Church Beach Trip to Walton-on-the-Naze More details to follow New Wine Tickets are still available for New Wine 2025 (including children's groups) . If you have already booked for to camp with Christ Church, please let Mark Hallett know as he will be co-ordinating our camping village and looking at communal catering requirements for the event for those what are interested. Please email [email protected] Eco Church How environmentally friendly is your Loo Roll? It's something we all use, every day. Things to look for are: made from sustainable sources such as recycled paper, not bleached, fragrance free, ideally wrapped in paper rather than plastic. If you already buy eco friendly loo roll, could you influence someone else to do likewise, such as your workplace, or your wider family and friends. Working Party at School The painting at Christ Church School is being finished on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th May. If you are comfortable using a paint brush and roller please do consider offering help. Martin. Helping a Mission Partner – ANCC All Nations Christian College is celebrating 60 years of Missionary training at our Easneye site this year. The celebrations culminate with a major event on Saturday, 31st May with a celebration service, afternoon tea, a missions fair and exhibitions. Steve Tompkins, ANCC Ops Manager, is seeking volunteers to help with car parking, general stewarding and furniture (tables and chairs) moving. In return volunteers will receive entry to the event and an afternoon tea by way of thanks. Help will be needed between 1.30pm and 4.00pm. If you can assist please contact Steve Tompkins - [email protected] Prayer Space In the prayer area at the back of church there are cards for you to leave a; Testimony, Things to Pray for, as well as words for us as a Church. The Staff team will then take time to pray during for them during the week. Please place completed cards in the offertory box or give to a member of the clergy.
