Women's bible study
As part of our women's ministry Monique will be overseeing a monthly bible study course, following a Beth Moore bible study looking at some of the Psalms. The course comes with a workbook for you to purchase, and carefully guides us to go deeper with God as we look at the psalms of ascent. This is open to any women at Christ Church, the material does not cross over with life groups, so you are welcome to attend both. These are being hosted in people's homes so to sign up or find out more please speak with Louise or contact [email protected]

This is open to women of all ages, and you don't have to be able to attend every session.


Wednesday Welcome - 28th January 2:30 – 3:30pm, Debs Thompson to speak about CAP.  Wednesday Welcome is amonthly Wednesday afternoon to get together, includes a short service and social time with tea and biscuits. 


Alpha Youth - Starting on the 28th January, for 8 weeks! We will meet at 6pm on Wednesdays and have dinner together.
-   Is there a young person you know who you'd like to invite?
-  Do you like washing up?!  We have a full rota for cooking meals (thank you!!) but some people cannot stay for clearing up or are on the rota solo and would appreciate another pair of hands. If you are able to offer to come and wash up at 6.30 on any of these dates then please speak to Jess. 28th Jan, 4th Feb, 25th Feb, 11thMarch, 18th March, 25th March. 
- Pray for our young people as they consider doing it and as they invite friends.

Ware's the worship
Christchurch will be hosting a worship event on Friday 30thJanuary. A live band will be leading us in an evening of modern worship music; picture the lights and sounds of a first rate party, but with the object of the evening to offer praise and worship to our God and King.

The evening is open to adults and young people from age 11 upwards. Doors will open at 7.20pm. Please invite any friends who would enjoy an evening of contemporary worship and exciting visuals. 


Soup Sunday – 8th February  - Join us after the 10:30am service for Soup.


Join In!  Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th February  A fun event for parents/carers and children to come to together with bouncy castle, soft play, games, Bible story and café. Would you like to be a part of making this happen?

• Help- We need lots of team to make this happen! We run four sessions, could you help at one (or more!) of them? Roles include-  Welcome, monitoring inflatables, craft helper, serving refreshments, chatting and praying with adults.
• Bake- We need lots of cake!
• Pray- We need lots of prayer!
• Invite- Who could you invite to have fun and hear about Jesus?
• Book your place!- Booking is essential

 EcoTip for January  Are you planning to travel in 2026?   Can you do so in a way that is good for our planet?   We all know major sources of carbon and pollutants are cars and planes, with flying having a huge impact.   We know it's best to walk, cycle, go by bus, take the train, or at least car share.   For your holiday this year - can you travel by boat, or train? Could you cut out one flight?  Why not challenge yourself to making a holiday, or work trip, more eco-friendly in 2026.
