So to spread some joy this Christmas, we would like to give our clients a special treat in the form of a Christmas hamper. As a church, we would love you to join us, if you are able, to help collect together some items that will bring a smile this Christmas. Sustainability may not be the first thing you consider when making a booking.... but here are some ideas. Where: we know nearer places usually take less energy and carbon to get there. Why not make the journey part of the holiday? Where to stay: Different types of accommodation have vastly different approaches to sustainability, so have a look at the eco-credentials of hotels or campsites before you book. Do they use renewable energy, promote local produce and support the local economy? If you usually take several holidays a year, could you avoid flying for one of them and visit somewhere closer to home? Just one change is a positive step in the right direction.
