​Rekindling - Thursday 5th September  7:30 pm Church Centre  - Hosted by Dave Brett
A space for dads of those with additional needs (male carers also welcome). Peer support group with opportunities to chat with each other around a firepit. Bring your own soft drinks and nibbles to share.   Any queries please email [email protected]


SEVEN The next Seven Service 8th September 7pm in Church. This term we are looking at Spiritual Gifts.  Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm.


Service of the Word Friday 13th September 12:15pm in Church (after the Friday Coffee Morning 10-12).  This service will be on the second Friday of the month.  The service is an opportunity for people to attend church during the week and to connect with God.


Annual Children's Church Parental Consent 
In order to register your child for Children's Church we need a consent form. We are now using digital consent forms. Under 5's breakfast Sunday 22nd September 9am in Church CentrePlease come along if you; -are Under 5 (please bring your family too!) & you serve in a team for Under 5's (crèche, toddlers, or bubbles) A chance to play, chat, and grab a breakfast bap,  All of our events are always open to newcomers, please do come along and make yourselves known.  Please email [email protected] if you would like to serve at this event


Baptism and Confirmation - On Sunday 3rd November we are having a confirmation service with the option to also be baptised. If you would like to make this public declaration or if you are just wanting to explore this further then please speak to John or Jess. 
 

Home and Away (Day) - Closer Each Day...
Saturday, 5th October - Church day with children and youth activities, social time, teaching and worship together, shared lunch and also for the Friday evening where we will be having a time of worship, prayer and social together as well. Look out for further communication via Email  More details to follow


Everyone is invited to the beach  Walton on the Naze,
When - Saturday 14th September '24 at 11am
Where - Where will we meet at 11am?  We will meet on the beach at the following point  https://maps.app.goo.gl/MfSVdtpfLQwETmnk6    What3words location: passenger.regular.blacked.  We will have Christ Church red banners up so you can find us!
Parking - There is on street parking directly next to this section of beach.  Alternatively, there is a car park called 'Coronation Car park'
Bring your own packed lunch, towel, activities, and beach toys.
Please note there are a small number of steps down to this part of the beach.  Please arrange to car share wherever possible- especially offering a lift to those unable to drive there. Please get in touch if you need help getting there.  We look forward to going to the seaside with you!


Toddlers starts back on the 9th and 10th September 9.30-11am, no need to sign up just come along for play time, stories and singing for under 5's and their parents/carers
We would love to have some more people join our team, it would be good to have some male volunteers as we see a growing number of dads and grandads joining us each week.
It would also be good to have help in the kitchen serving teas and coffees.

Prayer Space In the prayer area at the back of church there are cards for you to leave a; Testimony, Things to Pray for, as well as words for us as a Church.  The Staff team will then take time to pray during for them during the week.  Please place completed cards in the offertory box or give to a member of the clergy.  For 24/7 urgent (and confidential) prayer requests please send an email to [email protected].


On Sunday 8th September we are having a stand at the Children's Celebration Day at the Southern Maltings.  Would anyone be willing to assist Jess at the Stand from 12-4 to promote our children's activities.  Please speak with Jess [email protected]
