Dear Friends, This Sunday - we continue our series on The Growth of the Church in Acts - Partnering with God Acts 3:1-16-39. Join us at 9 am or 10.30 am in church. This term we are looking at Spiritual Gifts. Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm. Service of the Word – 13th June 12:15pm in Church (after the Friday Coffee Morning 10-12). This service will be on the second Friday of the month. The service is an opportunity for people to attend church during the week and to connect with God. Assisted Dying Bill – Norman Richards is hosting two sessions outlining the proposed Assisted Dying Bill as it currently stands. Whilst providing an opportunity for small group discussion and prayer around the subject. 17/6/25 7.30-8.30pm and 20/6/25 12-1pm in Church Children's Church Team Annual Barbecue – we would like to say Thank you to our Children's Team who support our services on Sunday 22nd June after the service. If you are part of the team please respond to Lizzie and Jess. We are also looking for some help to cook the BBQ. If you have this skill we would be grateful to hear from you. Ignite! Our new after school group for children aged 8-11 years old (school year 4-6) is a great success . We had great fun playing games, doing craft, Chocolate Lollipops and hearing a bible story The next clubs are 25th June!We would love to make this a weekly club and need more team to make this happen. Church Picnic 29th June 1:30pm, Stanborough Lakes Please bring your own picnic. We will take the red Christ Church banners so look out for them and come find us. 13th September Church Beach Trip to Walton-on-the-Naze More details to follow Eco Church Water basics: You know the principle - Save Water: Fix that drip - be it a tap, shower or toilet, it all wastes water. Turn off the tap, take a shorter shower, use washing-up water for your garden plants, don't run your dishwasher, or washing machine half empty. For the adventurous - Ponds are biodiversity hotspots, vital for local wildlife and climate resilience. Why not add a pond to your garden, school, or community space? The Fascination of Swifts - Saturday 31st May 2:30pm in Church CentreGavin Vicary of the Ware Swifts Group will be giving an illustrated talk on the life of swifts. Thank you from Pam Robinson's niece Felicity and nephew Philip - I would like to thank those who attended the Thanksgiving service for Pam, for their prayers and kind wishes and the mountains of wonderful cakes! She says " Philip, my Mum and I so appreciated everyone's love and kindness". Prayer Space In the prayer area at the back of church there are cards for you to leave a; Testimony, Things to Pray for, as well as words for us as a Church. The Staff team will then take time to pray during for them during the week. Please place completed cards in the offertory box or give to a member of the clergy.
