Please drop off at office Eco Church This month is the most popular time of year to plan your next holiday. Sustainability may not be the first thing you consider when making a booking.... but here are some ideas. Where: we know nearer places usually take less energy and carbon to get there. Why not make the journey part of the holiday? Where to stay: Different types of accommodation have vastly different approaches to sustainability, so have a look at the eco-credentials of hotels or campsites before you book. Do they use renewable energy, promote local produce and support the local economy? If you usually take several holidays a year, could you avoid flying for one of them and visit somewhere closer to home? Just one change is a positive step in the right direction.
