SEVEN Service -  THIS SUNDAY is SEVEN - 14th September – This terms theme is: Encounter, Community and Equipping.   Seven Service is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 7pm


Interested in exploring the Christian Faith? –  Evening Alpha starts on the 30th September 7:45pm.  Alpha is a series that explores the basics of the Christian faith in a welcoming, open and friendly environment.  It's free and there's no pressure or follow up.   Everyone's welcome. to sign up Alpha Evening Sign up 30th Sept - 2nd Dec 7:45pm

Service of the Word – 12th September 12:15pm in Church (after the Friday Coffee Morning 10-12).  This service will be on the second Friday of the month.  The service is an opportunity for people to attend church during the week and to connect with God.


Everyone is invited to the beach  at Walton on the Naze,

Parking - There is on street parking directly next to this section of beach.  Alternatively, there is a car park called 'Coronation Car park'
Bring your own packed lunch, towel, activities, and beach toys.
Please note there are a small number of steps down to this part of the beach.  Please arrange to car share wherever possible- especially offering a lift to those unable to drive there. Please get in touch if you need help getting there.  We look forward to going to the seaside with you!
Please get in touch if there's anything else you need to know, we've been going for a few years now and it always proves to be great fun! There is something very calming about being beside the seaside!


Monthly Prayer Meeting  Monday 15th September 10-11am in the Youth Wing Church Centre (3rd Monday). Why not come and join us as we pray for the world, local community and life at Christ Church.


Children's Church – Consent Form
In order to register your child for Children's Church we need a consent form.  We are now using digital consent forms. Please follow the link Children's Parental Consent 25/26
You will need to complete 1 form per child.  We really appreciate your help in completing this form


MADD in September - Men Active During the Day - September meeting

Invitation to Join a Life Group
We really encourage everyone at Christ Church to be involved in a life group. Life groups meet nearly every week to chat, read the bible, and pray together.  A lot of groups host socials and serve food for hospitality too.  Most life groups meet on a Wednesday evening, with a couple of Tuesday evening and daytime options available.  You don't have to be available every week but coming as regularly as possible is helpful. Christmas Explored- 24th-28th November (set up on 23rd)  A couple years ago Christ Church ran an event called Easter Explored.  This year we are doing Christmas Explored!  
How can you be involved?  Over the next couple months look out for random prop requests! Consider saving the dates and getting involved as an actor, odd jobs help,  helping set up and take down and praying!
 

Wash Your Clothes Less:  Eco Church - Synthetic material sheds microplastics in the washing machine.  The ocean floor now holds over 14 million tonnes of microplastics and a high proportion comes from clothes washing.  These microplastics are toxic to sea life and work their way up the food chain, eventually to mammals, including humans.   Over washing your clothes will also affect their quality over time, as well as using lots of water and energy.  Avoid synthetics, wash them less and use an Eco-friendly detergent.


Prayer Space In the prayer area at the back of church there are cards for you to leave; Testimony, Prayer requests, or words and pictures for the church- please post these in the prayer box.  The Staff team will then pray for them.  For 24/7 urgent (and confidential) prayer requests please send an email to [email protected].  Please let us know if you would like to be part of a prayer group or prayer triplet.
